Welcome to South Mountain Veggie.  We are a new and growing family business delivering fresh organic veggies and fruit from local farms in the area straight to your door.  We will be working with several farms in the area (approx. 50 organic farms and growing) to offer you a wondrous variety of vegetables and fruit.

The concept of buying local is simply to buy food grown as close to your home as possible. With industrialization, our food is now grown and processed in fewer and fewer locations, meaning it has to travel further to reach the average consumer’s refrigerator. Although this method of production is considered efficient and economically profitable for large agribusiness corporations, it is harmful to the environment, consumers and rural communities.

Sustainable agriculture is a way of raising food that is healthy for consumers and animals, does not harm the environment, respects animals, provides a fair wage to the farmer, and supports and enhances rural communities. 

Sustainable farms are run by family farmers who are hardworking, honest and sincere people. They work all hours of the day and night to bring you the freshest, tastiest, best quality food available.

We all want to receive good healthy food for ourselves and our families.  But we don't always have time to visit the local farmers market.  South Mountain Veggie brings all of the area's wholesome vegetables and produce right to your door!

No driving, no traffic, no standing in line, no impulse buying.  Just good, wholesome food right outside of your door.  It is just that simple. 

While we'd love to say "Hi", you don't need to be there to receive delivery. Most customers leave coolers out on their front porches or we can even deliver to a garage refrigerator.
